RESCQU NET Bridges the gap between brick-and-mortar LGBT+ organizations and the largely under-supported, under-represented invisible community of stealth, closeted, questioning, and Under-resourced LGBT+ individuals on the Net
THE NEED FOR CLOSET-FRIENDLY RESOURCES
To many LGBT youth, the Internet is a valuable community. But coming out on the Internet is as far as many can go due to lack of resources or discrimination in their local communities. LGBT organizations who can help are often far away and limited by budget, or other restrictions.
Messages like this are all too common in private and secret LGBT+ groups:
RESCQU NET connects these online communities and physical non-profits by providing resources in safe ways online, while encouraging the growth of brick-and-mortar LGBT+ organizations so they can bring help to unsupported areas.
