Erin Tschudi - Volunteer Representative
Erin Tschudi, a 23-year-old woman, is the Volunteer Representative and Training Director for RESCQU NET. She is an activist for the LGBTQ+ community through the medium of education.
Erin holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder in English Literature and a certificate in LGBTQ Studies. Currently, she spends her time focusing on activism and hopes to pursue a master's degree in the near future.
Over the course of her time in college, Erin discovered her passion for activism in the LGBTQ+ community after getting involved with the GLBTQ Resource Center on campus which had a Peer Education program. She eventually joined Trans* Youth Channel (now RESCQU NET) hoping to continue educating others in need.
During her time off, Erin likes to read, work on her creative writing, play video games, play around with coding, and go out with her friends. When she does go out, she enjoys trying new coffee shops and local breweries. Her reading list generally consists of Young Adult Literature. Right now, she is reading The Kite Runner.
Erin spends a great deal of her time making sure that volunteers feel comfortable doing their jobs at RESCQU NET. She hopes to find a way to create a training system that will continue to sustain itself after she is gone from the organization. It is her belief that a team that is all on the same page can reach far further than those with knowledge gaps.
